Quasimorph is a single-player extraction RPG with a campaign map, operations, clones, equipment, and persistent consequences. Community additions sit outside those core game rules.
That boundary is useful. A mod can change balance, saves, controls, or compatibility, so its claims need to be checked against its own version and installation notes before it becomes part of a playthrough.
- Record the game version and the tool version before changing files.
- Copy the active save before an installation or update.
- Test one addition in a disposable run before carrying it into a campaign.
- Remove a failed experiment by restoring the known-good save state.
Use a review checklist
Before trusting an optional package, verify its stated game version, install scope, uninstall steps, and whether it touches saves or executable files. Keep the original archive and a short record of the change so a broken run has a recovery path.
